During my internship at Studio Dumbar/DEPT®, I had the privilege of working on the visual identity for Meta's flagship annual conference. The theme for Meta Connect 2025 was centered on "shining a light on process"—celebrating the collaborative experimentation and the "messy in-betweens" that lead to technological breakthroughs.

We developed a design system that visualises the emergence of an idea through sequential layers. The identity moves from raw wireframe lines to high-definition shapes, expressing the iterative journey. My role involved supporting the team in building complex layered vector typography and shapes, and a flexible identity system, ensuring the system remained functional across thousands of global touchpoints—from environmental graphics to live broadcast animations. The result is a dynamic, "work-in-progress" aesthetic that bridges the gap between the digital and physical worlds, mirroring the very innovation Meta Connect celebrates.
