Film In Schools
Immersing students in film
FIS, or Film In Schools, is an educational initiative designed to empower teachers with tools to teach students through film. With their expansion into secondary schools, FIS needed a rebrand that would appeal to both primary and secondary students while remaining accessible to teachers. Guided by the concept “immersing students in film,” I developed a brand identity that feels enjoyable, creative, and approachable to students, with clear communication to inspire teachers to bring film into their classrooms.
Central to the design is a reimagined clapperboard, transforming the “i” in FIS into an image holder for showcasing students, their work, and program highlights. This simple, flexible system is paired with vibrant photography, bright colors, and friendly copy to support the accessible and engaging spirit of FIS.
