Background
Lando Norris's team reached out to me to design some hand-lettered logos for 2023's Miami Grand Prix. Inspired by the slam dunk success of last year's basketball-themed helmet, Lando had a fresh vision in mind—this time, opting for a beachball-inspired design. My challenge was to craft lettering befitting of a beachball and capturing the beach vibe and apply it to everything, his name, logo, driver number, and the Miami Grand Prix title, which would then be used on his helmet and accompanying merch line.
